Gasconade County R-II School District

The Gasconade County R-II School District consists of 354 square miles that includes territories in 4 counties (Gasconade, Franklin, Crawford, & Osage). A 7-member Board of Directors guides the activities of the District. The District operates 4 attendance centers for 1,868 students.


The Gerald Elementary School, located on Highway 50 just west of the Legion Park, has been a staple of the community for over 60 years. Currently the school teaches children thru the 5th grades. Sixth through 12th grades are bussed to Owensville to complete middle and high school.
